Actor Manoj Bajpayee is known for his exceptional acting skills, be it in the role of Sardar Khan in Gangs of Wasseypur or professor Ramchandra Siras in Hansal Mehta's biographical drama Aligarh. Currently, he's gearing up for the release of Budhia Singh-Born to Run in which he plays Biranchi Das, a judo player. The actor is impressed by Mayur Patole, the child artiste of the film who has essayed the role of the protagonist Budhia Singh in the upcoming movie.

When asked about new-gen actors who have made him sit up and take notice of their acting skills, Bajpayee said on a live video, "A lot of actors are doing well, especially Kangana Ranaut. She gives a lot of time and energy for each of her roles. I am always curious to know what's she doing or going to take up next. I am also looking forward to work with her."

Manoj, on the live beam, also praised the new crop of actors such as Rajkummar Rao Yadav, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vicky Kaushal for choosing the right projects in tinsel town. Manoj said, “It is important not to be desperate for roles in the beginning of your career. However, it is a tough task to say no to work and money everyday, especially if you don't come from a privileged background. Kudos to all these guys who are not succumbing to pressure and are doing good work in the industry."
