The much awaited trailer of starring Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar is out now and looks promising.  The film has gained immense popularity since it was announced, as it will introduce Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Janhvi for the first time in the silver screen. The pair looks too cute in the trailer and would surely be loved by the auience. 

The trailer also gives us a brief of the film which writes ‘"When two worlds collide, they become one"

Dhadak is a journey of young, pure, unconditional and a fierce first love that fights fate.

Meet Madhukar and Parthavi, two young and passionate individuals who make a safe haven of their own when they fall in love. But as their love grew, so did their problems when their families reject their love. Torn between society and families, their fate becomes uncertain but their love stands strong.”

Dhadak is the official Hindi remake of director Nagraj Manjule’s Marathi hit, 'Sairat' (2016). Prior to the release of the trailer, Karan Johar in an statement said, “We are honoured and excited to collaborate with zee studios on the official adaptation of the immensely celebrated and loved SAIRAAT..DHADAK is Shashank Khaitans third film post his dulhania series and a true labour of love ....we present JANHVI and ISHAAN to the world today and can’t  wait for the viewers to experience their innocence and magic on celluloid....Dhadak trailer out today at 12 noon!!”

Directed by Shashank Khaitan and starring Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. The film is jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Zee Studios, and  is scheduled for release on 20 July 2018.
