Bollywood Classics with Singer Talat Aziz “Yeh Shaam Mastani”!

Leading light of the Indian Music Fraternity, renowned singer Talat Aziz mesmerized the audience with his silken voice in an evening of Nostalgia and Melody accompanied by an orchestra of 20 top Bollywood musicians.

 

The evening witnessed the presence of Sonu Nigam, Suresh Wadkar with Padma Wadkar, Anup Jalota, Javed Ali, Sanjay and Zarine Khan, Sapna Mukherjee, Bharat and Dorris, Gautam Arora, Anjali Pandey & Madhuri Pandey, Shaad Ali, Abhishek Kapoor, Yusuf Lakdawala, Maheka Mirpuri, Sangeeta Singh  etc 

 

Talat Aziz says “Music affects the way we live. Our thoughts, our joys and sorrows, the way we think and the way we dance; all of it moving to the unending melodies and patterns of the soundtrack of our lives”. Holding a penchant to entertain the audience with some of the finest pieces of art work, popular singer Talat Aziz for the first time ever was seen in a new avatar for his fans, bringing alive evergreen classics when he will sing numbers of his favorite music.

 

 The songs: - Teri Aankhon Ke Siva, Yeh Shaam Mastani, Phir Chiddi Raat, Zindagi Ka Safar, Maine Pucha Chand Se, Lag Ja Gale,Chaudnvi ka Chaand Ho' were high on its musical richness, its subtlety and its uncanny ability to reach deep within our hearts of the audience. It was his musical journey where he sang live & made everyone embark into a blissful world of tranquil music & magnificent ambiance.

 

Setting the tone for the rest of the evening is Emcee Kubra Sait and Kathak dancer Manasi Deshpande.

 

Prominent Indian singer, Talat Aziz says “I believe that the most important thing about music is the mood it weaves with the help of sensitive lyrics, deliberately underplayed music and rich, soothing tones of the singer. Today I sang my all time favourite Bollywood classics with a 20 piece orchestra led by Nitin Shanker. It was a great evening of melody and as the title says from the famous song "Ye Shaam Mastani" Inshallah it lived up to its name”

 

Talat Aziz has sung for several films Umrao Jaan, Daddy, Bazaar to name a few. He has just completed a cameo shoot for film director Abhishek Kapoor's 'Fitoor'

 

Talat Aziz will soon after embark on his much awaited “The Iconic Tour” with Padma Vibhushan Asha Bhosle on 28th Aug in the USA.
