Abraham & Thakore is presenting a trans-seasonal collection on the 14th of March 2018 at the Amazon India Fashion Week in Delhi. Selected styles from the collection are going to be available for sale after, both in store, as well as online.

The streets of Delhi are a source of inspiration. Battling with the crowded thoroughfares of the NCR, the multicoloured pageantry of street life lifts the tedium. The incredible array of colours, fabrics and silhouettes is an uplifting testament to diversity and the sheer joy of dressing, in the midst of the cacophony and the ever rising PM levels. From hoodies to ghagras, skinny jeans to salwars, jutis to trainers, a multitude of stylistic influences are mixed and re-mixed.

We continue our investigation into some of the classic elements of clothing such as the salwar, the kameez and the ghagra and then re imagine them in a new collection of richly patterned floral fabrics inspired by some of the great Indian chintzes. With classic gabardine we also combine the expected as well as the unexpected, in a search for a contemporary yet rooted fashion voice.

The colour palette ranges from soft khakis and creams to shades of coral and olive green, and is juxtaposed with black and white. Cotton and silk fabrics form the base, and textures and sheers are contrasted with opacity.
