The “Sheer Summer” collection of designer Sumona Parekh to be showcased at Sheer Summer 2016 " at Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2016. The collection has been derived from the garden motifs in fresh sunny mood. This feeling is reflected in the wonder of the filigree work with its flower and leaf motif with curling tendrils. There is a distinct presence of her jewellery workmanship woven into the fabric of her clothes. The luxury pret itself emphasizes the garden, flowers anhd leaf pattern with a layered 3- dimensional effect.    

 
This collection is an assortment of cool summer fabrics in sheer textures like georgette, butterfly net and chiffon in subtle spring shades like custard yellow, baby pink, white, tangerine and peach. The silhouettes of the collection starts from short knee length canvas dresses to floor length elegant ensembles with dhoti pants, capes, palazzo, summer “throw “jackets.
