Designer Sumona Parekh introduces Sheer Summer collection. The collection has been derived from the garden motifs in fresh sunny mood. This feeling is reflected in the wonder of the filigree work with its flower and leaf motif with curling tendrils. There is a distinct presence of her jewellery workmanship woven into the fabric of her clothes. The luxury pret itself emphasizes the garden, flowers anhd leaf pattern with a layered 3- dimensional effect.    

This collection is an assortment of cool summer fabrics in sheer textures like georgette, butterfly net and chiffon in subtle spring shades like custard yellow, baby pink, white, tangerine and peach. The silhouettes of the collection starts from short knee length canvas dresses to floor length elegant ensembles with dhoti pants, capes, palazzo, summer “throw “jackets.

 
There are many soft summer dresses with cross-over yoke. Most f the yokes are in metallic chattai lame which is in contrast to the soft spring feel of the dresses.  Most of the outfits in this collection are in georgette or cotton canvas. Hence there are very light and easy to wear. The Georgette material either has lucknowi or irigami work. Kirigami work is the Japanese art of cut-and- paste. We have used that method for our dresss panels which have georgette- on- georgette work.
