The design concept for the Festive/Winter2016 collection of Madras Fashion Week is the “Bouquet Bridal”. Nature and fashion come together. Flowers of the Spring gave us a bouquet of inspiration.

The Indian culture has always celebrated nature in its lifestyle. The culture worships elements like rain, wind, animals and trees. These are components of environment, that are essential for human survival. This celebration of nature is also evident in the ancient arts of the country, whether it is painting or embroidery on fabrics. Floral embroidery seems relevant in any form of fabric work. The nature and beauty of flowers are interpreted in our luxurious Bouquet Bridal collection.

A wedding dress is the clothing worn by a bride during a wedding ceremony. Wedding trend are something very important to be considered these days as everyone seems busy in designing new and trendy styles which makes one feel the desire of wearing the best outfits. Since ages the traditional Indian bridal wear, that is the lehenga choli, is preferably red in colour. This is because red is referred to as the colour of good luck and auspicious. Nowadays, many Indian brides choose to wear other colours besides red for their wedding. In modern Indian weddings, the bride may opt for other pastel colours such as bright spring colours as well for their wedding outfit.

The “Bouquet Bridal” collection of Indian bridal wear meant for the new age spirited bride is inspired by botanical element like flower power in its full bloom. The colour palette includes hues of cream, rusts, browns, reds, baby pink, apple green, banana yellow to turquoise and edgy blacks. The collection has the ethnic, rustic and soothing look about them, with fusion of vintage ornamental floral motive inspired Lehenga, Long kurta with skirt and short kurta with Palazzo. It has ensembles exuding elegance wrapped in tradition which had the touch of gold infused Zardozi, Japanese Kirigami self-on- self work and Lucknowi art work with shimmery embroideries mostly on fabrics like velvet, raw silk, net and georgettes.

Indian brides are simply the most gorgeous when they wear make- up and a perfect wedding lehenga that can make their look more appealing and attractive.
